Completed UL2809 Third-Party Verification for Recycled Gold and Platinum Products
Dec 10, 2024
ASAHI METALFINE, Inc. is pleased to announce that its recycled gold and platinum products manufactured at the Bando Plant (Bando, Ibaraki Prefecture) have successfully obtained UL 2809 validation, following the completion of third-party verification by UL Solutions Inc. (U.S.) in November 2024.
Our Group has designated “the expansion of precious metal recycling” as one of its key SDGs priority themes and is actively promoting the expansion of sales of precious metal products made from recycled sources.
In response to the growing global demand for recycling as an efficient means of resource utilization, and to ensure that our customers can use our products with confidence, we have obtained third-party certification for the use of recycled raw materials in our precious metal products, in addition to our RJC certification. Going forward, we will continue to contribute to the creation of a sustainable society, while striving to reduce environmental impact and enhance social trust.
